Georgia Alive: A Leadership Initiative for a Vital Economy
The Coronavirus has thrown a wrench into everyone’s every day. It’s been such an honor to work with the non-profit GeorgiaALIVE to spread facts about the infection and mortality rates in Georgia and information as to how we, as a state, can overcome COVID-19.
Begun by business, technology, and government leaders from all over the state, GeorgiaALIVE was born out of equal parts heart and data. The team behind this brand and movement has been endlessly helpful and driven, and working with them has built and maintained so much inspiration to help the state overcome the virus and its many, many effects on its people.

Owned Content
We launched the campaign with some owned content pieces, inspiring our audience to keep their “blanks” inside while the shelter-in-place mandate was covering all of Georgia. To inspire our audience to create their own (and our later celebrity influencer strategy), we created our own posts, which all played on puns for rear-ends. Butts, buns, and rumps galore!
Celebrity Influencers
We have been working with celebrity influencers to help spread the message, and it’s been so much fun to see the variety of faces that have come out to help us. Below are some examples of the great celebrities we’ve been able to work with so far.
Merchandise Designs
In order to raise money for our financial goals, we also created a merchandise store for the GeorgiaALIVE site. We featured variations on the fill-in-the-blank concept and even introduced some new tag lines, like the one seen on the white shirt. (Which immediately went into backorder because of popularity! Wow!)
Infographic Designs
To ladder back to the data that started GeorgiaALIVE in the beginning, I also created an expansive library of infographics to share with our social audience. We met the challenge early of suddenly changing legislation and governmental suggestions for behavior, so we learned early to roll with the punches and when in doubt, rely on the data. These infographics continued to spread consistent, factual information in a time when people seemed to have a lot of questions about what was happening and how they should react.
